operated Rental Car Company based in Queenstown, New Zealand,

in downtown Queenstown on Shotover St, and airport pick up

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Will my drivers' license work for New Zealand?
If you have held a valid, unrestricted drivers' license for
a minimum of 12 months, and it is in English, then you will
not require an international permit. If you do not have these
prerequisites you will need an international permit. All documents

Are there Age restrictions on Hiring cars?
Yes - you need to be 21 years old or over. We do accept drivers
under 21 with a valid, unrestricted drivers' license although
we do not offer the insurance buy-down option and will also
increase the vehicle excess to $3,000. The maximum age is
95.
Do you do airport and hotel pickups?
If you have an existing booking, upon arriving at Queenstown airport please collect your baggage and phone us on our toll free number 0800 800 956. We will pick you up outside the Arrivals Terminal approximately 10 minutes after you have placed your call. If you do not have a booking, call us and our friendly staff will assist you in making a booking and will organise to pick you up. From your hotel, the same applies, however we may charge an additional fee to pick you up from your accommodation.
Can I have an additional driver?
Yes - however we need to see any additional drivers' licenses'
and they must be present when completing a contract.
Will I be charged for a no-show on a booking?
Yes. Please cancel booking at least 24 hours prior to hire
start time or you will be charged a cancellation fee.
Is petrol/diesel included in this price?
No - we hire the car out with a full tank of petrol/diesel
and require it to be returned full. If a car isn't refueled
we will charge petrol/diesel cost plus an additional $20 administration
fee.
Is insurance included in the price?
Yes. The insurance excess ranges from $1,500 to $2,000 depending
on the vehicle type. This is standard 3rd party insurance.
What is Insurance Excess?
This is a fee which is payable by the hirer in the event of
an accident regardless of who is at fault. We also give you
the opportunity for purchasing an insurance excess buy-down,
which drops the excess to $250 or $500.00. This costs $15.00 extra per day, or for hires under 3 days, a $45.00 flat fee will apply.
Do you have one-way hires?
We are a Queenstown based company and prefer that our vehicles
are returned to Queenstown, however sometimes we do have one-way
hires available. Please feel free to check with our staff.
Do you have GPS Units for hire?
Yes we do. The cost for hiring:
3 days and under - $25.00 flat fee
4 days and over - $10.00 per day
